Still Standing Pt 2
Yesterday we gave some background on historic homes in West Virginia.
Today we will venture inside to see some of this home’s interior.
The basement, the first phase of the building,
was constructed and inhabited before
the Revolutionary War. The thick stone walls
and wooden beams are original.
The space is currently used by the family as a TV room and a cozy spot to play games, or have a glass of wine.
Main floor living room.
Upstairs hall bath. Notice the original wood flooring.
Library and dining room.
We hope you have enjoyed this tour. Tune in tomorrow
to see some photos of the town and surrounding country side.
